Polar acts as the reseller and handles all payment processing, sales tax, and international tax compliance. We do not directly collect or store your complete credit card number, bank account details, or other financial instrument information.   • Communications: When you contact us for support, submit feedback, or communicate with us through any channel, we collect the content of those communications along with your contact information.
  • User Content: Data generated through your use of the Services, including timer configurations, session history, room settings, and team preferences.

  • Device & Browser Data: Device type, operating system, browser type and version, screen resolution, device identifiers, and language preferences.
  • Log & Usage Data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, access timestamps, pages and features accessed, clickstream data, referring/exit URLs, and crash reports.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

3. How We Share Your Information

  • Merchant of Record – Polar: Polar Software Inc. acts as our Merchant of Record and processes all payment transactions on our behalf. When you make a purchase or subscribe to a paid plan, Polar collects and processes your payment information as the seller of record, handles applicable sales taxes, and assumes associated financial liabilities. Polar's processing of your data is governed by Polar's Privacy Policy and Polar's Terms of Use.
  • Payment Service Providers: Polar utilizes third-party payment service providers, including Stripe, Inc., to process payments. These providers are subject to their own privacy policies and terms of service. We do not control how these providers handle your data and encourage you to review their respective policies.
  • Infrastructure Providers: We use third-party hosting and backend services—including Convex, Vercel, and cloud providers—to store and process data necessary to operate the Services. These providers act as data processors under our instruction.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your data when required to do so by law, in response to valid legal process (e.g., subpoenas, court orders), or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cadance, our users, or the public.
